Clad in bright 70’s style one-piece snowsuits this highly energetic piece was designed for the outdoors but has found its way onto many small stages. This unique looking trio of women “dance like no one is watching” with all their heart and it is nearly impossible to resist shakin’ it along side them.

Five Minute Window
Choreography by Shannon Cooney
Music arranged by Dale Morningstar
It's as if you were travelling, on a train, that suddenly stops at an unknown and exotic place and for five minutes you absorb all that you can through the frame of a window.

Ruby Bastard
Choreography by Serge Bennathan, Michael Sean Marye and Learie McNicols
Directed by Dean Gilmore
The abstract scenarios and experiences committed through movements, text and audible ramblings transpire under a visual collection of projections depicting the night sky falling. A veritable roadside journey, infused with inhuman surprises and humorous delights.

Nice Cuppa Tea
Choreography by Julia Aplin
Music arranged by John Gzowski
Premiered at Dusk Dances, Ottawa, 2001
This tantalizing tea party explores the delight and charm of English teatime". Five dancers display their dazzling tea pouring technique in a dizzying spectacle involving 32 cups and saucers. "As a first generation Canadian, I have felt the need to connect to the traditions of my heritage. Teatime is one of those British family traditions, which I cherish and want to share. My mother always said, 'Never underestimate the power of a nice cup of tea'.

Ruby Venus
Choreography by Monica Dottor, Michelle DeBrouwer, Stephanie Thompson, Sunny Horvath and Michelle Rhode
Premiered in Toronto 2002
A sculptural work of five identical women clad in long red hoop dresses, blonde wigs and masquerade masks they move to a symphony of heavy metal violins in a foreign land. Exploring their surroundings in childlike fashion; afraid to wander too far from the clan.

STRUM
Choreography by Stephanie Thompson and Sunny Horvath
Premiered in Toronto 2000
Short film 2004 Directed by Will Pascoe
A deep look into the life of a fast food employee, STRUM takes you through a full day shift of flipping burgers. The manager hires a new worker and along with the employee of the month and the masterful drive thru whiz try to show her the ins and outs of beef patties, soft buns and daydreaming.

Tilting Pretty
Choreography by Stephanie Thompson, Sunny Horvath, Monica Dottor, Michlle DeBrouwer and Michelle Rhode
Premiered in Toronto 1999
This signature piece is the inspiration behind Blonde Jokes. A colourful whirlwind of whimsical women dashing in and out of patterned chaos. In a ddesperate attempt to stay pretty, they primp, fuss, jump, twirl and vamp to a soundtrack of bizarre squeaks, bells and whistles. Together they visit places like the kitchen, the prom and the beauty parlour. Revealing hysterical insight into the tilting world of pretty blondes.

Glibberish
Choreography by Stephanie Thompson
Premiered in Toronto 1997
A ten-minute epic phrases the redundancies of verbal shortcomings. The multimedia performance takes an off-beat look into the life of the dictionally challenged editorialzing certain human “je ne sais quois” which falls short on syllables.

NEXT (The Rabbit of Seville)
Choreography by Sunny Horvath
Premiered in Toronto 1996
A romp through the familiar music widely known as the Barber of Seville (Rossini) but with a special twist that only the Loon ey Toons can provide. With gunshots and cannons exploding, the performers make their way through an adventure that is exhausting and wildly silly.
